Swan from June 16-June 21

Hi everyone , I have joined the Swan cheerleaders after staying at the Swan from June 16-21 .. We had a great stay , Loved the Grotto Pool, Tubbi's , Gulliver's .. The only thing I didn't like is they wouldn't waive the $10 a day resort fee for us . Oh well I tried twice with 2 different people. the buses were great to MK, AK and DTD, the boat worked well for us for Epcot and MGM . I found that 2 days housekeeping didn't take our tip and 3 days they did ?? I liked the oatmeal soap but used my own as I got a sunburn and the oatmeal raking over it killed ! (LOL) and well we all have heard how "heavenly" the beds are and well they are NOT kidding . they are great-quite hard to get up early when you are soooo comfy !! I traveled with my kids who are DD9.5 and DS6.5 who had no complaints either and loved the slide ! if you have question ask away - oH yea I used the laundry at the Dolphin - loaded it all into my big suitcase and wheeled it right over washed while we ate breakast but the dryers are kinda a stinky - 2 were not drying and the rest were not really hot so it took lots of time and $$$ . Glad you have joined the ranks of true S/D believers! Glad you had wonderful time. I did read your trip reports - sorry about the stroller.

bigsis1970, I am glad you had a good trip. We love the Swan too after our May's trip.

One day we ran out of singles and left some singles and quarters as the tips and the housekeeper did not take it. When we went back in the afternoon, I ran out and asked the housekeeper why she did not take the $ and she said she was not sure if that was for her. She took the $ from me and told me to leave a note by the $ and that was what we did since then.

Also, I ran into the problems with the dryer too. I got a tip from someone else which one was hotter (the ones at the top, especially the 2nd and 3rd from the left). Not sure if the others are not as good, but the ones I used at the bottom would take 2 drying cycle which really kills the time when you are in a rush to get to the parks.

I would love to try the Dolphin once the renovation is done. I think it has a much better location than the Swan. After the renovation, the only thing that I will miss at Swan is MamaT at the Club Level.

I don't understand why the Swan doesn't have their own laundry room!
