what are the size of the rooms (compared to a moderate or all star)
and are there teacher discounts still offered and how much are the discounts or room rates for teachers.

When we were there in January I thought the rooms at the Swan were bigger than a moderate. There were two queen beds and we had plenty of floor space.

There are teacher discounts. We paid $199 a night for the room but the rates vary depending on when you are staying. I have seen rates as low as $159.

We really enjoyed our stay. The location was great and the food choices were really good.

Enjoy your planning!:)

what about the dining plan. can you get it while staying there?
i saw on the thread that it doesnt participate in dining plan but didnt know if that meant guest werent allowed the dining plan or just the restaraunts didnt accept the dining plan.

The answer is...both. The Swan and Dolphin are not owned by Disney, they are Starwood resorts. You can't get the dining plan if you are not staying at a Disney resort.

Non-Disney owned restaurants could elect whether or not they wished to participate in the dining plan. None of the S/D restaurants participate.
