I had the same questions when I was planning my hotel stay for this September 22-Oct 1. I first made a reservation @ $169 per night using the code "All Ears" when calling reservations that was for a Lake View room (Lake view room is actually has a view of the resort - Resort view room has a view of the lake - confused yet?) Anyhow, after calling a few times I ended up being able to get upgraded to a Resort view with a balcony at no extra charge - being that I am using points for one of the nights helped most likely to get the upgrade for the entire stay. I do not plan to move to the Club Level even if offered for free when I am there - from what I could see, a Resort View with a Balcony on a higher floor towards the end of one of the "fingers" is the best view. When you make your reservation, request a view of Epcot... Are you a Starwood Preferred Guest?
