WDW resorts have refillable mugs& magic bands! What do you lose by sdtaying @S&D

Those, in addition to free airport transportation. S&D have a shuttle but its not free. Other than that, you lose nothing.

No free airport transportation, no charging back to rooms (you can still send your packages back to the resort like WDW resorts), no MB you get an old fashioned card to open your room doors, the parking is a tad higher than WDW resorts, they have a silly resort fee you have to pay.

They do have great pools and you can use both the Swan and Dolphin one. They have great restaurants. They do share WDW transportation to the parks. They are considered staying on property so you get any EMH hours that WDW offers. Less expensive then the WDW Epcot resorts.

It's funny...the only thing we really missed when we stayed at the Swan was being able to use our MB as our room key. If you have a Disney Visa, not being able to charge on your band will force you to take out your card to pay, but it meant we never forgot and got our discount wherever it was available. Ultimately, location, room size, view, bed comfort, and cost made it worth staying. Last time we stayed there, it was just before Christmas and the cost to stay at the Swan was several hundred a night cheaper than the Epcot resorts and about $15-35 cheaper than the DIsney moderates.
