Swan/Dolphin vs Sheraton Safari

Looking for some opinions. Is the Swan/Dolphin worth 3x as many SPG points as the Sheraton Safari for a free stay? I have not stayed at any of these hotels. I'm trying to do a cheap long weekend before X-mas.

I can't speak for Sheraton Safari, but I have stayed at the Dolphin - its nots my favorite by any means, but it is convenient as heck. The hotel itself is fine - like staying in a fairly nice hotel - we didn't eat anywhere there at the Dolphin, but we did appreciate the convenience of being there at Epcot.

With Epcot being open the latest of all the parks - it makes me appreciate the location of the Epcot resorts!

I stayed at the Swan on a recent trip and must say it was a great resort at a great price. The Epcot resort location is the best in all of Disney World imho and I can't see how staying anywhere outside could possibly compare.

Sheraton Safari looks like a good deal but it is located at the far end of the DD complex where all of the road work & congestion is going on. Getting anywhere from there would likely be a nightmare.

If you're looking to save points try the Sheraton 4 points on 192. It's on;y 2.5 mles from AK & an easy entrance to all of WDW. It's NOT a great place to spend any time, but for the low points & closeness to the world it's ok. We usually use it as a jumping off place before we check int our resort du jour.

If you want very nice try the Swan & get the heavenly beds...
