Swan/Dolphin Transportation: Share your thoughts

Hi everyone!

I'd like to know how great the transportation is from the Swan and Dolphin hotels to the parks. Even though these hotels aren't owned by Disney, I've read that Disney buses stop by these two hotels.

Do the buses stop every 15 minutes?
How long is the ride on the water taxi to Epcot & MGM?
Do the Swan and Dolphin provide buses to Downtown Disney or do we walk there?

During busy seasons ,(like Christmas), do buses run closer in time, like every 5 or 10 minutes at the Swan & Dolphin like at the Disney Resorts?

Edit: How long of a bus ride is it to Animal Kingdom & Magic Kingdom?

Buses run approx every 15-20 minutes. Intervals may be less during busy times in order to accommodate the crowds. Actual intervals, arrival times, and routes may vary. Always double check all signs to be sure you are boarding the correct bus or boat.

Boat ride to Studios is about 5 minutes, to Epcot is 15 or so.

Bus ride to AK 15-20 minutes.
Bus ride to MK 15 minutes.
(It depends on the routing of the bus)

I thought that the transportation option from the Swan/Dolphin were one of the best parts of staying at these resorts. We stayed at the Dolphin the week before Christmas..we actually got on a bus ( not our favorite way to transport) only about 3 times in the week we were there.. the boat rides were great to MGM and Epcot and we also walked to or from both of these parks more than once avoiding any lines etc. Both walks were very nice with lots to look at ..well lit at night etc. Next time we go will will probably stay either there or at the Beach Club to avail ourselves of the great location/transportation!!
