I remember reading about a discount for teachers at the Swan & Dolphin ages ago, does anyone know if this is still running?

I thought UK teachers couldnt use the discount (I am a teacher)

I've definitely heard that UK nurses can get the discount OK so it's quite possible that teachers can too.

Like Wedgeh says I am 100% certain UK nurses can so surely teachers can. Maybe email them if you want to know for sure.

I think Florida Sun - Sue - got the teachers discount the other year.

I got the discount last year. Anyone that works for uk government i.e. teachers, teaching assistants nurses, etc etc can get it.
At the time I worked as a LSA in a school.
all you need to take is proof such as a wage slip.

Hi there,

I enrolled as a Starwood Prefered Guest ( free ) just for this perk because I wanted to stop at the Dolphin/Swan.

Plus I can also confirm that the discount applies to all UK Civil Servants who are classed as Government employees by Starwood.

On arrival just produce some official ID or letter headed document as confirmation.

Hope this helps anyone when considering these great hotels.
