I was just looking around the boards and I noticed that DU has Teacher Rates for the Swan at $144 instead of the Dolphin Teacher Rate of $129..., is this just a computer glich, or since the renovation is complete at the Swan are they now charging a higher rate?

I hadn't decided between the Swan or Dolphin for a November trip, because I wanted to see what my September trip at the Swan was like before I booked there. I'm paying $129 at the Swan in September.., and I paid $129 at the Dolphin last year.

I can only assume the increase is due to the renovations. If this is the case should I book the Dolphin for the November trip just so I don't get "stuck" with the higher rate? Will they still honor the $129 rate at the Swan for the September trip? Also, I was "hoping" for a March or April 2004 trip at either the Swan or Dolphin.., but again, I'm thinking I should book the dates, just so I can lock the rate in.

Has anyone noticed the higher rates at the Swan?

Thanks in advance.

Though I am not an expert, I thought I would try to give you a quick answer. A month or so ago there was an announcement that, since the renovations at the Swan have been completed, rates were going up. So you are right about it having to do with the renovations.

I would assume that if you are holding a room under deposit at a certain rate, that they will honor the rate (this happens all the time). However, maybe someone more knowledgeable than me can chime in on this point.

Good luck!
