Swan/Dolphin teacher discount info?

My DH is a certified teacher, but he switched careers 2 years ago. Does anyone know if he would still qualify for the teacher discounted rates at the Swan and Dolphin? Also, which of these 2 hotels would you prefer, and why? Thanks for the input!

travelbug, thanks for the PM. DH has a teaching certificate with no expiration date. We'll have to wait with booking anything until we have our plane tickets all set, though.

I am a teacher but I do not have any official ID form my school district. How do you prove you are a teacher. I do have my teaching liscense fro NYS saying I am certified, will that suffice?

I was told on a different thread that you will need to show your teaching certificate/license when you check in to the Swan/Dolphin. It must be a current license that hasn't expired. Someone also said that if you don't have this document, they may accept a current paycheck stub or school letterhead with your name on it. To be on the safe side, it's probably best to call down there and verify exactly what they would need to see from you. Hope this helps!
