I see you can either get a room with a king, or two queens. There is a picture of a pullout couch bed in the King room, but I can't find any info on if the couch is in the rooms with 2 Queens. Does anyone know? And if not can we request a roll away bed?

I am going with my mom and 2 cousins, both female. So we really need 3 bed, which few few Disney hotels offer. S & D seems like a good compromise between having to choose 2 rooms at pop or sleeping on the floor in a deluxe/mod.

Can anyone confirm the different bed options at this resort? Thanks so much!

EDIT: Also, can anyone tell us any negatives about the S&D? Do we still get free parking at Disney? Can we book fastpasses 60 days out? Is the transportation as good as the Disney transportation at the other hotels?

Since you aren't getting much feedback, I'll try to help:
I have never stayed in a room at the S/D that was 2 beds that had a couch. The couch was only in a room with a king sized bed. There may be a different option if you were staying in a suite type room, but I've never seen that in a standard room configuration. This is my experience, having stayed there over 10 times now. Others may have a different experience.

Yes, guests of the S/D do get free parking at the parks. Just show your room key at the parking toll booth as you enter the lots for the parks, and they wave you through (though you do pay to park at the S/D itself. info is on their site).

The transpo is as good as the other WDW transpo options, maybe even better, since you have the option to walk to HS is you just miss the boat, or to hop over to BW and catch the Epcot boat there if you just missed that one.

Fastpasses - I've heard yes you can, but there were some issues linking the S/D reservations to the MDE initially. I have not tried this yet, so I can't say from experience.

Hope this helps.

We needed 3 beds at the Dolphin during one of our stays. They provided a rollaway that was quite comfortable at no charge. This was three years ago, however, so things may have changed.

The rollaways are $25 a night. We have stayed in a jr. suite that had two queens and a couch. However, I would not make anyone stay on the sofa bed, it was very uncomfortable. I have never seen a sofa bed that uncomfortable. They brought us a rollaway and it was much better.

The rollaways are super comfy. Housekeeping told us last week that they just upgraded the rollaways to a thicker mattress. It is a heavenly bed mattress. Housekeeping wasn't too happy about it because they are much heavier.

Yes, fastpasses at 60 days out. You have to have reservation and admission tickets linked on MDE.
