Swan/Dolphin Discounts

Quick question-- exactly who do the Swan/Dolphin discount rates apply to? The site on here says AARP/Govt/Nurses/Military/Teachers...

Does this include firemen? Thanks.

Good question, I don't know the answer to that. Aren't firemen city government employees? I can tell you that I'm a teacher and this year the AP rates can be better than the teacher/gov rate. I just booked this morning at the Dolphin for the end of May. The teacher discount was $149, but only available for 2 of my 5 nights. The other nights were $199. So I booked the AP rate at $169.5 which was available for all 5 nights. I also got a room category upgrade with the AP rate and a late check out. My family is going to get the 10 day PH pass, so I'll pay a little more a get an AP to get the rate.

If you don't qualify for the gov. rate, don't want to buy an AP, and Dreams Unlimited can't find you another discount (which they probably can), then check out the discounts here. .

As long as the firefighter is paid (not volunteer) and works for a city, county, state, etc, government, as opposed to a private entity, then, yes, he/she will qualify.

The SD are my favorite resorts. I hope you'll b e able to enjoy them, also.
