has anyone gotten any of the special rates (ie entertainment) for the week of 12/7-12/12? i was told they haven't been released yet for that week but i can have the following week. that doesn't make sense to me. i figured i'd call back another day and maybe get a different story. if they tell me it's booked for the week i want then i'll go a different time, but i was told they just haven't been released yet and there aren't any conventions or anything. does this make sense? does anyone have experience with this? what would you do?

I just booked about a week ago for Dec.17-20. I asked about ENT rates and AP holder rate. She told me there about the same but that with AP i'd get an upgrade from standard to lakeview for the same price. I'm now booked with my AP code. If i were you i'd call back and see if you get a different answer than the one you've been given. Good Luck.

What rate did you get for December? I'm going to be there 12/3 - 12/12 and currently have a ressie at CBR. I really wanted to stay at the Dolphin, but based on rate info I've seen so far it's out of my price range The cheapest rate I've seen so far is for AP at $139/night - is that the rate you got? Based on historical data I know when AP rates come out CBR will be much lower. Does anyone know of cheaper rates than $139 that time of year? And if so how to get it without going through Priceline or Hotwire - I'm a little nervous about taking chances with those!!!

I would check other discount sites as well....last Dec..Christams week..we paid $99 a night standard view. Another poster had seen that awesome rate on WWW.TRAVELZOO.COM
I could not believe that rate for Christmas week! 12/25 the rate was no longer valid....for the week thru New Years...but who knows?
