Methinks we need to add SSB's name to that "Missing DISers" thread!

Sue...don't do anything that would result in having to wear stripes please ;)
Why do people have to be like that.......making life miserable for kids and for the people who genuinely care about the kids best interests. ggggggrrrrrrr Hugs and PD to you (and the boys)

Why do I feel so tired tonight?? I have no energy whatsoever and a ton of things to do around the house. Maybe just Monday blahs. yawn yawn

I passed my cholesterol test......well sort of passed.....it has come down from 336 to 205....so I am thrilled ...this was in five weeks.....also my bad cholesterol is much better.....almost normal....so those little funny pills really really work..........OH YAH....went and had a vanilla ice cream cone at the Dairy Joy.......
SSB where are you.......the ladies want you to come out and play.......so come out come out wherever you are......
Hope that cookie has a blast and doesn't think of us once.....not once..

good evening

i got home and realized that i hadn't posted to my favorite thread!!

sending you truckloads of PD sue...i can totally relate. :( people that don't consider the CHILD in the situation and instead hang on to OLD grudges...sucks...

i wonder where oh where SSB is? has anyone checked local department store windows for him? ;)

yay pumba...here's to low cholesterol :teeth:

Debbie......PM on the way...so as not to bore the rest of the DIS with teenage perspective on.........stuff..........LOL

nighty night

Finally, I heard from Mr SSB.

Seems he was out of town (isn't he always "out of town" somewhere??) first on business, then "for fun".

Does he ever really work, you think?

(I still think he was in the store window and escaped, but, just doesn't want to admit it...) I did ask him to drop in and post. We'll see....

Took the boys to the state fair tonight....what a rip-off!!! Ride tickets were 75 cents each (or a "value strip" of 24 for 15.00). Each ride cost 4-6 tickets. I bought 60.00 worth of ride tickets. Other than the big coasters that they wanted Amanda to ride with them, it was just the 2 of them riding.....They hardly rode anything. If you lived more than 50 miles away from Louisville you could get an unlimited ride armband for 20.00  , but, obviously I don't, so...
Food was more expensive than WDW (everything was 5.00--one piece of chicken on a stick---sausage with onions thingie--everything).
Really made me appreciate WDW and what a bargain it is in the end. Just wish it were closer to me...or I closer to it!!

hi Sue
Glad you "found" SSB ;)

DD for the last few years has been feeling the same way about state fairs and traveling carnivals and such. Even when she goes jsut for the social aspect (becasue that's where all her friends are going that night) she is just like us in comparing it unfavorable to WDW.

I gotta say, when I saw the SWA ad on TV tonite for $49 each way to FL for travel before 9/28, I told DH felt a WDW weekend coming on, but really couldn't squeeze a long one away from work and/or home before the 28th ;) Besides, I swore in June that I am not getting myself all excited and paying for air and such, to stay any less than a week the next time. :teeth: So it'll probably be another year at least, and probably with grandkids ;)

OK good night for real now :)

Hi there everyone! I am so thrilled to see Sue back with us!! {{hugs}} to you Sue, I have missed ya!

I am hoping to make it to WDW on Sunday to say hi to Gail.

I am heading for bed soon so take it easy and talk to you all soon!!

Oh and Sue....... buzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz to you. :teeth:

Hello Christine! Nice to see you :)
Nag Gail to send an e-mail, OK? Better yet, go to Epcot with her and send one of the both of you ;)

Happy Tuesday to all!

morning

have i mentioned how much i despise allergies? i have done nothing but sneeze all morning!! i was trying to iron my clothes for today and continuously sneezed the whole time...i think i'm allergic to corn pollen or something...and as luck would have it, i have lived next door to a corn field now for almost 10 years. and when we move to our new house...yep, you guessed it...surrounded by corn fields... better break out the claritan!

i would so love just a weekend away to WDW! if it was in the budget, believe me, i would jump all over it! i've even told DH that i wouldn't have to go into the parks! i would be just as happy staying at one of the DD hotels and hanging out at DD the whole time. and of course, splurging just a bit for PI...have to get my AC fix in there! ;)

thanks to the boards though, i did find something slightly interesting for us to do for my birthday! someone pointed me in the direction of the ohio renaissance festival. i did some research on it and it looks like fun! it's about a 2 hour drive from us though. but i can survive that. DH has been miserable since leaving california...he used to attend an awesome renaissance faire there. he's been looking for one in this area, but had yet to find one. until now! i told him about it last night and now he's all excited about it! he's even thinking about working the festival next year! it might be kinda fun to do that. but seeing as how i've never been to one, i don't know if it's quite my thing yet. i'm not sure i want to get all dressed up and "act" every weekend for 6 weeks. we'll see how i like this one...

have a good day everyone! :)

Good morning, all! (Yes, it is still morning).

I would love to find a FL fare for that price! I think a long week-end at WDW sounds good, too. Oh, well, I onl have 100+ days till I can go back  (Guess that beats the 1 year + since I was last there, though.)

Ah, allergies. I can relate. I am sniffling even as I type. Poor Justin has been sneezing his head off for 2 days. The others seem relatively unaffected right now.

The weather is beautiful here today. Seems to have cooled off a tad bit (Or else the humidity has dropped). Whatever, it is beautiful.
Back to work for me tomorrow after 6 wonderful days off. Bummer. Plus, I'm working 3-11 PM cause they were short and I needed the morning off. YUCK. I hate 3-11.
Jave a great day. guys!

PS--No sign of You (S)-Know (S)-Who (B) yet, I notice. And Debbie? Did I run her off????

Hey Christine!!! BZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ................
Hope you make it to WDW this week-end!

Speaking of low airfares, I found a $139 roundtrip fare from Akron to Orlando on Airtran. I couldn't pass up the opportunity for a trip, so I'm headed back down to Florida on September 27th and again on December 3rd for the MegaMouseFest. Have I mentioned that I am married to the most wonderful lady in the world. She was the one who suggested that I go twice for a week rather than once for two weeks. I'm all set with tickets for Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party and Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party. The only thing that I'm not prepared for is Disney Visa's Very Scary Monthly Statement.

Wow, TC--you are one lucky man!
So, what is MegaMouseFest?

I wish some of the low price airlines flew out of here. We only have Southwest. No Spirit (is that right?) No JetBlue (are they still in business??) No AirTran . When you add up all of the "no"s, you get higher prices.

MouseFest 2003 is a meeting of the various Internet Disney groups that is being held at WDW from December 4th through 8th. It's an opportunity for DISers, RADPers, and other Disney Netizens to meet face-to-face. I'm looking forward to finally getting to meet some of the (in)famous people from the other boards.

OMG you guys...i have the best birthday present EVER for my DH!!!!! (get your minds out of the gutters...it's not THAT...i don't have to save THAT for a special occasion ;) ) anywho...i can't tell you now, just in case he reads this...but i'm so excited!!!! :bounce: :bounce: :bounce: :bounce: i promise to tell you as soon as i tell him...

I will try my best Ann! :)

No Sue...you didn't run me off. I had only a minute to spare before the gang was all here this morning (kiddies) and when I came to post I had a PM from Ann and I had to reply to her and then that was the end of my spare time...so its Ann's fault

I would love to find a cheap air...I already have left over days but time off would be a problem so i'll just have to wait too :(
my eldest son is flying down with his girlfriend to WDW this Friday for a week....his first time there

Hi, Ann!!!! I see you on here!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Minds out of the gutter ladies ;) :)

Sigh...I'm kind of looking forward to crawling into bed tonight. Kinda down about goings on in the world, and my family, and work......
but at the same time so when glad I come on here...it makes me smile....and we (me and DH and DD) had ice cream with Madyson tonight. When you ask her how old she is, she holds up her pointer finger :teeth: What a smart baby :)

BTW--Mrs Milo--I bought that glyco-stuff for DD at Target's pharmacy tonight....will let you know how it works out :)
