No problem ;) ours were good too. I made DH drive and had a second one...that was even better. Now it doesn't really bother me that I can't breathe ;)

This computer/virus stuff...really gets me crazy, since I feel so inept. I'm basically "starting over" and hoping that Norton keeps me clean.

pumba ... I KNEW you were crunching LOL hehehehe

Tomorrow my mom turns 77!! We are going down to MA to take her to lunch. She has made some amazing improvements in her aphasia and her cognitive functioning , and her short term memory in the last 6 months or so. Hard to believe that it's been almost 5 years since her brain surgery for 2 aneuryms and stroke. They said the most improvement would be in the first 6-12 months, with some sporadic improvements over the next 18 after that, then pretty much plateau. But she's has spurts of noticeable improvements over the last few years. It's so nice to be able to actually have a conversation with her because for so long she couldn't express herself very well and it would get frustrating for both of us, especially over the phone. I'm rambling......
gotta go and try to download acollege apps for DD, she said she was having trouble with one...wondering if this virucide is interfering with some of this stuff.......... uugghh computers.....can't live with 'em, can't live without 'em ;)

4 more junk emails in the inbox. :(

Sue was designated driver this evening. I only had one maragarita, but it was a 28 ounce one. The restaurant also serves a 44 ounce "jumbo", but that's just way too much tequilla for this town crier.

Glad to hear that your mom is doing better Ann. :)

Good evening to all my margarita drinking and rice cracker eating friends!
Nothing exciting for me to eat or drink today.

TC--Thanks for the warning about the fake update thingie. I haven't seen anything like that come through my e-mail (the advantages of being unpopular I guess) , but, will be sure to warn Mike about it.
Sorry you're getting hit so hard.

Weather wasn't too bad here today, but, it did turn rather nippy through the day. Was pleasant when I went to work this morning, but,was much cooler when I left this afternoon.

So, today, while talking to a patients' son, I found a fellow Disney Nut!!
He is an artist and is enthralled by animation and everything Disney.

It's a shame that only one of my patients got good care today ;)

You guys have a great week-end.

Ann--Happy Birthday to your mom!

Hear ye, hear ye. It's 7AM and there are 50 more security updates in my inbox. :teeth:

Today marks the first day of the last weekend of Yankee Peddler and the official YP DISmeet. I am looking forward to seeing a few familiar faces along with a couple of new ones at the festival today. I sure wish that all of you could come to "The Peddler". I'll take some pictures and post them either here or on the DISmeet board. Have a great weekend everyone.

Oh my TC...that's horrible!! (The e-mails that is!)
The YP thing sounds like fun, will look forward to your pictures!

SUe, that is fun to meet a fellow Disney fan! One of DD's friends came in last night and I noticed a little plastic Tinkerbell hanging off her keychain. Actually it made me think of Shellie....how is she???????

Happy Saturday to all!

Do not follow where the path may lead. Go instead where there is no path and leave a trail.

do you think this means that if the lights go out in Disney.....you may take the wrong path back to the swan/dolphin or does it mean make a path and you know where you are going cause you have the flashlight.....what does one think:rolleyes:  :p

Hmmm...let me think....OUCH!

On the other hand, let me not think (as usual) and say, IF the lights were to go out in Disney, I could always find my way back to the SD. I mean, ALL roads lead to the SD, right???

thats right Sue :)

hope everyone is having a nice Sunday..the weather sure is nice up here

OK, and do you really carry a flashluight at WDW??

OH, and yes Sue, all roads at WDW may lead to S/D....
but in NH and Massachusetts...all roads lead to construction and traffic jams......and my wussy DH and DD didn't even want to put the top down

But we had a great lunch, lots of laughs.....(psycho sister was NOT there) & Mom liked all her gifts........

DD is going out tonite, DH wants to have a date or sumpin'...he''s wondering if I'm going to be on the 'puter all night....I wonder if he'll make me a better offer..............:earseek:

Ann--

Glad you had an enjoyable time with mom---sorry about the wussy family members. I was topless today. As a matter of fact, I have been topless all week, and lovin' it in this weather.

A little advice---next time they resist at going topless, remind them that you paid a lot of extra $$$$ for the luxury of being able to put that top down

Dust off the ANTLERS!!!

well, that didn't work :(
we did watch TV...flipping between Miss America and the BC/Miami game

Send me some toothache healing PD today, will you? I have a tooth that is feeling kind of sore since I had them cleaned last week. You know, everytime I get them cleaned the gums tend to be sore ...or else a few days or weeks later I have a problem. Last winter was the horrible time... a filling, then a cleaning, then needing my first root canal in one, top right. Now there's one bottom left that is feeling suspiciously like that one started out...just kinda sore and tingly ....only this one already has a 3 yr old crown on it. I keep hearing th endodontist saying "no, the cleaning or filling can't really cause the root to die, but if it's "borderline", and if your resistance is low from being run down or sick, any little bacteria in there that your body could otherwise fight off might be able to take hold in there...and here we are....."

so I'm off to have a couple of ibuprofen for breakfast ;) , then go to a "pig roast" sort of party thingie...nice day for an outing here...

sorry about the tooth pain Ann...I have had pain in my teeth as well but we think its my sinuses...thats why I am having a CAT scan done on them today.

I went to the BIG E yesterday....my sister had a couple of free tickets so she brought me......boy did I have fun shopping and shopping and more shopping...hardly did anything else....just shopping....well except for my warm blueberry pie with melting vanilla ice cream on top :teeth: I usually eat all day when I go there with DH and friends...I never get to shop when I go with them though this was tons more fun......I spent over $300.00  DH says "I thought this was a free day"

And standing near the gate this nice lady came over and handed us 2 more tix she didn't need so I guess I can take Jerry back next week and show him everything I DIDN'T buy but wanted too ;)

OR I could take my sister and spend another $300 :teeth:

Try to have a good Monday today!!

morning

very noneventful weekend for us. we did our errands on saturday morning. DH made me get out of bed and go to breakfast. we went to perkins...and as usual, my eyes were bigger than my stomach. and i'm not sure what i was thinking, but i ordered all sweet stuff and my stomach was NOT in the mood for sweet! i ate my muffin and hashbrowns and boxed up my cherry streudel pancakes. i ate those for breakfast yesterday and they were very good!! after breakfast saturday, we ran around town...wal-mart...library...oh...and i had the desire to go to babies r us. i don't know why i do that...i just like to go and look at all of the various baby gadgets out there. and then panic when i realize that if we do get pregnant...we're going to go broke just buying stuff before the baby is born! it's entertaining watching all of the parents to be wandering around the store, trying out the strollers, etc and then zapping them with the registry guns. i'm weird, i know. :teeth: then we ended up at a bicycle shop. DH wants some odd ball bicycle that $1000!!! i told him no chance...at least for now anyway!

then we spent the rest of the weekend at home. sunday morning, we did do early morning errands...walmart (again)...got the car washed...cleaned the car completely out...and then cleaned the apartment. it was looking as if a tornado had ripped through it but left the walls in tact.

other than that...that's all we did. thrilling, huh?

season premieres are this week!!! woo hoo!!! and i realized last night that i am losing my two favorite shows this year...friends and sex and the city. :( i certainly hope that i can find something to replace them...i am looking forward to the series premiere of Las Vegas...looks like it could be an interesting show!

well, i better do something that resembles work around here this morning...at least for a few minutes. :teeth: ;)

have a good day!!

Pretty quiet around here, today. What?? Were you all just waiting for me to get home from work so the fun could start???

Ann--PD for the tooth.

Debbie--How'd the CT go?? I learned I have a chronic infection in mine. It just won't go away. 'Course, when I learned this, it was not my sinuses they were looking at--it was my brain. Obviously, my sinuses were more interesting than my brain
What's the Big E??? And what'd ya' buy?? Anything red and sheer?

Pumba must be so busy eating rice crackers that she couldn't post today.

Brandie--my week-end sounds a lot like yours. Lots of cleaning and laundry. Did the K-Mart and Wal-Mart thingie. Then went to the Gaslight Festical here, which I thought was not much and remembered why I hadn't bothered to go the last two years.
