Swan/Dolphin - any gift cards?

We will be staying at the Swan/Dolphin with a convention. I know that they do not accept Disney gift cards, but are there any other gift cards that might be accepted there? If there is any way to play the Raise/target (or whichever other site) game to save money on the gift cards and then use them to pay at the Swan/Dolphin, it would be great!

They are Starwood Hotels- SPG does not currently sell giftcards. They would accept Visa/Mastercard/Amex giftcards I would assume but you have to pay the purchase fee so your savings will likely be washed out. There are ways to buy these gift cards at office supply stores which earn 5x points/cash back and liquidate them and come out ahead but you have to do some work to liquidate the cards.

You could also consider applying for the SPG amex card and get the bonus points if you can meet the minimum spend
