Swan/Dolphin and DTD

Can you get the Free transport from the airport and all around WDW if you stay at the Swan or Dolphin or at a hotel at DTD?

As far as I know, there is no free transportation to any of the resorts on Disney property from the airport. Disney buses will take you to DTD from the Swan and Dolphin.

No, ME is only for Disney owned resorts, no S/D no DTD hotels.

Magical Express is free and is a shuttle to and from the airport to all the Disney Resorts, but not Swan/Dolphin. The great thing about it is your luggage goes directly to the resort and you don't have to claim it at the baggage claim. A few airlines even allow you to print your departure flight boarding pass at the hotel, so you don't have to wait in line at the airport. There should be more info about this on the transportation board. I haven't seen much about it in a while.

Actually WDW is now offering free transportation to and from MCO via Magical Express (ME) but you wouldn't need to know this as you are from FL!

Unfortunately, S&D and DTD resorts are not participating, just "WDW Resorts". Otherwise S&D do offer most of the other perks of WDW resorts. Such as in park transportation to and from the parks and DTD, EMH and other benefits. The only other thing I can think of was that you can't charge room purchases from the parks to the S&D on your room key, you could however, ship them to the S&D but not the DTD resorts.

FWIW we love the Dolphin its one of our favorites!
