Swan Bus Transportation

Does the Swan share a bus with other resorts (besides the Dolphin)? If so, what is the pick-up/drop-off sequence?

This is a confusing one believe it or not!

Somethimes it's the Swan then Dolphin. Sometimes it's the Swan, Dolphin & Yacht Club. Sometimes it's the Swan, Dolphin, YC, & BC and last but certainly least it is sometimes the Swan, then the Dolphin, YC, BC and the BW! (always in this order).

I don't know the why's or when's or if this is the current schedule, but I assure you I have experienced all of this personally.

In any case, the Swan is picked up first, right? Does the bus come early enough for MK EE mornings?

When we stayed at the Swan in April '01 and then the Dolphin in February '02, both times the bus stopped at the Swan first.

Yes, you'll be able to make the "extra magic hour" formally known as early entry!

I've been here since 1998---before members were required to register in order to post!

I'd have a lot more if the DIS didn't have several major crashes that caused the loss of posts!

Busses start servicing the Swan at 7:00am for Early Entry as well as Character Breakfasts.

From 8:00am-11:00am, the typical route for the Theme Parks is Swan -> Dolphin -> Boardwalk.

After 11:00am, DAK busses will service all 5 resorts.

Magic Kingdom will split the resorts Swan/Dolphin and Yacht/Beach/Boardwalk during busy seasons. During slow seasons, they will run all 5.

From 6:00pm-11:00pm Downtown Disney will remove the Boardwalk and make it its own bus.

just needed to add i have found the bus sevice for the swan to be superb. FYI they MK stop is the closest to the entrance, great for getting EA and even better when your exhausted at the end of the day. Bear in mind drop off is in reverse order so you may be last of 4 resorts if the buses aren't overly full. If really busy time it may just share with dolphin
