Swan and Dolphin - A Few ?s

We just found out that the company my husband is a franchisee for is having their 2007 convention in Orlando at the Swan and Dolphin resort. I have a few questions. We are a family of 5 with 3 kids who will be 10, 8 and 4. Which hotel would be better for us? Do either or both hotels have rooms that will accomodate a family of 5? What convention rates can we expect in early August? Would we do better to book through AAA, of which we are members, or to try for an AP rate? We are going down this weekend for free dining and are thinking about upgrading our tickets to APs (hopefully getting our DVC discount) while there now that we know the convention will be there next year. Any information would be appreciated!

Both resorts can accomodate 5. With kids, I would think probably the Dolphin is better, closer to pool and 24 hour food, though I prefer the Swan, smaller. Not sure what rates would be out then. All those are available. And remember, S/D so not participate in free dining. Enjoy.

I agree with Dan - The Dolphin would probably be better for you with your kids.
