Day 6:
Epcot FW (all but my wife); each day seemed to get hotter. FP mistake should have gotten it for TT; line said 45 minutes; return was 1:00 and we expected to be back at the Swan before then. After 45 minutes, not even half way through. My daughter felt faint; got out of line she had a protein spill; got a CM to take her to First Aid; got her cooled down and hydrated (TT line was now shorter than when we got in but said 90 minutes. I wish they had a better way of assessing wait times.) Got a wheelchair and FOTL passes for TT all of us. Went to HISTA, then Spaceship Earth, then finally TT. M:S was open, but after the protein spill we thought it best to avoid it. Interesting that the CMs were all wanting to know if my daughters sickness came from M:S; they said it often hits people 30 minutes after they are off it. Got back to the Swan later than we wanted should have used FP for TT.
We pretty much skipped lunch; dinner at TGI Friday, then over to MK for the evening and then e-ride; surprised that they extended the hours to an 11:00 closing (not announced); By the way we didnt want to take a bus to MK and knowing wed be late the parking lot was not an attractive choice either; so we parked at the GF valet for $10; I suspect that was unethical but better than taking up a space in the general GF lot. At least we paid for it rather than parking in the general lot. Besides, we wanted to ride the monorail around GF, and also to hear Please stand clear of the doors por favor one more time.
Took the train around, then Jungle Cruise and Pirates. Lines were moderate again, didnt use FP. Went to HoP and they had an extra showing. Timing was fortunate when we walked out of HoP, Spectro had just started at that area. Great parade my wife apparently really enjoyed it because after we got home I saw that she bought the CD. I think that shows how spontaneous moments are the best. We hadnt planned on seeing the parade just walked right into it. Had we waited even 30 minutes in a crowd I dont think the music would have struck my wife the way it did.
Right after Spectro we went over to see Tinkerbelles flight, then the fireworks; Im sure Wishes will be better but this is still a great show basic, yet very Disney. Then a couple more rides (IASW, Snow White). Missed Peter Pan and Pooh (no one ever saw it except my daughter who went a couple of years ago with a friend and her family). Lines were pretty long and the crowd showed no signs of thinning out.
It seemed like a pretty crowded e-night, though we had never done one before. First TTA no wait, then SM (20 minutes - maybe still people in line from before 11:00), then Alien (no wait), then Haunted Mansion (no wait), then BTRR (15 minutes), then Splash (10 minutes). It was 1:30 and though we wanted to see the Kiss Goodnight we were too tired to wait until 2:30 or whenever (if they even did it that night).
Day 7:
Breakfast buffet at the Dolphin; filmed a bit around the hotel; drove around a bit, then left for the airport.
Oldest son and BIL may go back this winter for a few days. That was probably it for us as a family (though weve said that before). Overall another great vacation at WDW; my kids loved it, and though my wife is not a theme park fan, she had a great time, especially at Epcot WS; Seeing how much my BIL enjoyed it made it special this time also; it was his second time, but he really felt like he experienced it fully this time: being on site, seeing a variety of shows and the Epcot countries (he was surprised how much he enjoyed Epcot), going on the rougher rides and seeing they werent that bad, and having the feeling of wanting to go back., which Im sure he will.
