Stayed in a legacy cabin for the final time. Rained everyday and the golfcart parking was a mess. I know its the "wilderness" but a little more gravel or concrete would keep my shoes clean. Golf carts were getting stuck and some were in standing water after a good downpour, so at the end of the day you get to come back and deal with that. The new cabins are very nice but don't have the same charm and defiantly don't blend into the scenery like the old ones. Construction loops and staging area is also a mess. Overall the fort was fun, and will be back someday as long as the DVC rentals do not price me out.

Are those legacy cabins going for sale? How cool would it be to put one in your yard 😂

I want a VW Vanagon in my garage / front yard !

Is it currently not as peaceful to stay on the property with all the construction and traffic created? It looks like a mess.

we were in 2700 loop. the cabin closest to the entrance is closed for a construction worker rest area. 2800 loop is full on construction mode and off road vehicles full of workers buzz around during working hours. lots of construction noise if you are on the side closest to 2800. one of the comfort stations in the 2000 loop is closed for construction worker use. cabin pool laundry is closed.
