Swagbucks GC question

I usually redeem my swagbucks for $5 amazon gift cards, I don't like to hold onto them for higher denominations because I'm always afraid I'll lose the swagbucks or something (I don't know of it happening, I'm just a little paranoid, lol). So when I get the GC I put it right on my amazon acct. and it gets applied to my next order. I've read of people saving them and using them for Christmas shopping and I would like to do that, but where do you save them at? Can I just leave them in my swagbucks account until I'm ready to use them or should I apply them to my amazon account? I assume there's a way on amazon to not use them, but I'm not sure how.

I just go to the Apply a Dift Card to your account tab and it automatically adds it to my acrued amount in the account.

You add it to your account and Amazon will automatically use it on your next order. If you don't want to use them they will accumulate in your account The following is from Amazons website...

Checking Out without Using Your Gift Card Balance
If you want to check out without using your gift card balance, you can uncheck the box next to "Use your $X.XX Gift and promotional balance" on the same page you select your other payment method options. If you don't see this screen during checkout, you can find the option on the last page before placing your order. Click the "Change" button under the Payment Method heading.

Just so you know...when it comes to the Amazon gift cards cashing out at the $5 card for 450 points is the best points per dollar. The $25 is the worst.

Thank-you, I shop on amazon all the time, I don't know how I missed that , but now I'll just go ahead and add my gift cards on there.

That's good to know, I hadn't done the math, but I'm glad I wasn't being wasteful.
