SWA prices down

Just got MCO - BWI for 3542 points in the beginning of September.

To make it even better my husband flies on the companion fare.

Just checked my October and November flights. No change in price.

Just changed my flights. For the first time ever, it gave me an option for a refund? It was a WGA fare, so I was only expecting a credit. Anyone else see this new option?

Our return flight to BWI in November went from $298 to $116.

Dubb: You won't get a refund unless you bought a refundable ticket. I got the same option last week and I only got credit for future flights.

Same here. We have WGA and just credit. But, that's ok!

IIRC .. Recently there have been a couple of people on flyertalk-dot-com

(on the SWA board) stating that they were offered a Refund instead of a Credit

(when they made a change to their reservations)

In their follow-up post .. the Refund appeared as a Credit

Yep, me too on the refund/credit. I rebooked my DDs flight 3 times for price drops over the weekend and it offered me a refund each time, but on the confirmations it sent her it says credit. (The price for her flight was back up considerably this morning)

I'm currently watching 6 one way flights. I check every day, because they don't all drop at the same time. This morning I got one ticket for a flight lower, but when I went back to rebook my DH's ticket, the price was no longer lower; I guess they just had one ticket at the lower price. The price will be lower one day and higher the next, so I have gotten in the habit of checking every morning.
