Hi: If you have non-refundable tic's can you still change to new fares with DING?

Yes, you can. You should try to book your ding rate first to be sure there is availability. Go all the way to the page where you enter payment info. Then in another window cancel your first reservation. This will give you travel credits that you can use to buy your ding tickets with. You will not get the remaining money back if the original tickets were non-refundable, but you will be able to keep the remaining credits for up to a year. That's what I've learned from the wonderful people on this board. ;)

PS - welcome to the DIS boards!

I've done it before to works just like the poster above stated..

Yes this can be done. When I booked our 7 tickets with SWA, at $79 + 1 way, I booked each leg of the trip separately just in case the rates came down, because I knew I would have to cancel the original reservation and use the credits. Remember when you cancel - you cancel all reservations to and from MCO. Anyway, the SWA ticket went down to $49+ 1 way, I was able to get that rate for the return flights, but not for the flight down (our departure date was not available). That put $210 in my credit account with SWA.....that will pay for a quick trip in the fall or spring. I did the same thing with SWA last December and used the credit account to pay for airfare for my Birthday trip to see the Mouse in May. I LOVE SWA.
