SWA Early Bird Check In Transferring w/Date Change

I booked tix for my sil on SWA using my points for next weekend and paid for EBCI... then she changed her dates, so I went to "change flight" and switched it to her new dates... did her EBCI move with her? If not, where did that $25 go? I didn't think to look for it while I was doing the "change flight" stuff, but when I just checked her confirmation email, I don't see any mention of it...

Did EBCI move w/her flight change? How to find out?

If she has the same confirmation # as before, it should have transferred. Call if you are not sure.

It depends. EarlyBird Check-In is tied to the Customer’s reservation for which the EarlyBird Check-In purchase was made and will be transferred to the Customer’s new flight if he/she changes the flight at least 25 hours prior to the original flight’s scheduled departure time and so long as the change is to a flight that will depart in more than 25 hours. Since EarlyBird Check-In is associated with a reservation, any changes must be made within the same reservation record (same confirmation number) in which the Customer purchased EarlyBird Check-In.

Call ... SWA Customer Service (M-F) 214 932 0333 <== I had success
with reservation error/corrections in the past.

Just wanted to add (for future reference) that if you change a flight (not cancel), EBCI goes along with the new flight. If you cancel and then rebook later on using the credit(s), EBCI is lost and will have to be repurchased with the new flight.
