SWA Drops ISP. Prices

I just happen to be checking our flights to see if any changes were made. Well, sure enough our flight coming home dropped from 134 pp to 123 pp. We paid points. I went in to change flights and BINGO,. we were credited the difference of the rewards points, over 4,000 points save. For us this was big because know we will be going back. WooHoo-We are doing the Happy Dance tonight!!!

We are traveling Aug 20th/returning on Aug 30th. Keep checking. As usual, SWA (like all airlines) go up and down withour rhyme or reason. I could not sleep last night and decided to check my flights. I guess you could say I got lucky.

So glad others have benefited from my post. That is just one reason I love the DisBoards. The rates we got this year were better than last year (we paid with points but I saw what I would have paid by CC/cash). Now I have enough points for at least 1/2 flight for the future. I am sure we will earn more as time goes on.

By the way, I received an email from SWA saying if you logged in with your rewards account and then do your yearly taxes with Turbo Tax, you could earn 1000 points!!! Did anyone else see this?

Don't give up, especially for the August trip . Depending on your April trip, if it is around Spring Break you may or may not luck out. As you know, that is a very popular time to travel.
