SWA dropped prices this morning.

Our flights going went up $50 bucks each (out of 12 flights, only 2 are non stop and our flight is one of them)

BUT . . . our return flight dropped $75 each!!!! I just got a $300 credit:banana::banana::banana:

THANK YOU FOR POSTING THIS!!!! :worship:

Just booked my tix (im a fed emp and had to make sure govt wasn't getting shutdown first)!!!! Airtrans went up and SW went down once they declared the shutdown was averted....I got $59 tix from Cleveland to MCO. I'm so excited!!!

Our tickets went down $120:banana: So we are paying a total for round-trip tickets from Ca to Orlando for $580:cool1: When I first started looking for tickets they were over $1000:eek:

So, I getting my first swa credit and have some questions. I have a ressie for all 6 of us going down on the same ressie #. There are 3 tics left at a lower price, but when I go to change the res I have to do it for all 6. Is there a way to do it for a portion of the res? My other concern is that 2 of the 6 on the res are my parents. My mom has had some health issues and the reason we booked swa was if something happened last minute she at least would have the credit with swa. How would I get that if I can't split the res to make changes? I know that there are a lot of swa pros out there. I would love your help if any of this makes sense!:confused:

I just booked for the first time with Southwest and couldn't be HAPPIER! :cool1:
When I checked fares a month or two ago it was $1400 for the 4 of us to fly to WDW.
We decided to drive instead -but I checked today it the fare dropped to $757.60!!! :lovestruc

We are BOOKED - and I am so happy that I can stop worrying about how high gas prices might go this summer! :scared1:

The flight we got for free going down (from the SW Visa promotion) dropped $20. Of course, the return flights haven't budged.

The flight down from ISP to MCO is now down to $104 pp. Return flights still have not budged and are in the $264-$282 range.

Flights out of BOS to MCO are ridiculous! Keep hoping they will go down in price but everything that is direct is about $500 each! Ugh! Maybe there will be another special next week!

Keep checking daily (and several times a day if you can). I'm in Southern NH and found the same thing when I was booking for my upcoming trip. There really doesn't seem to be any rhyme or reason as to when they decrease and increase fares for our area. I found the best prices on Tuesday mornings, Thursday afternoons and early Saturday mornings for when I'm going. I ended up with $99 on the way down and $84 on the way back.

Quick question. If I search from the main site, our outbound dropped a bunch, but when I go to make the change, the price is much higher ($99 vs $222), why is this happening?

Did you actually go into to see the individual flight fares? Or did you just look at the lowest rate for that day?

Also where u flying from? Also it depends on how many tickets they have left at that price.

That's what happened! For 1 ticket, you could find the cheaper fare, but not for 4. Thanks for the idea!

I am waiting for mine to go down to $124. from $139. they were $124. went to $134. and 2 weeks ago thurs for one day the early morning one went down to $99. but it is going home and I dont want to go home early.....:scared1: So am waiting for them go back down to $124 as that is what I budgeted at...if they go down more after I pay then I will have a credit for our Jan cruise.....:confused3:worship:
