Any of you experienced travelors have any insight into a connection at Nashville (BNA)? We are flying Nov 14th CMH->BNA BNA->MCO. Our flight from CMH to BNA lands at 0710 and our connection leaves at 0745. Is this going to be a rushed connection? How early do you think they start boarding the flight?

BNA is pretty easy to get around at. Unless you have a delay, you wont have any issues. Granted you wont be able to check out the stores or anything. But leaving that early, shouldnt cause any issues.

Weather that time is usually pretty good, so shouldnt be an issue.

Our Nashville Airport is not that large(compared to mco or atl) you should be just fine.

All of the SWA gates are in the C Concourse, so you should be able to get from one gate to another without any problem. We fly SWA out of Nashville a lot and to the best of my recollection they start boarding the flight around 30 minutes before departure time, if the plane is there, of course. We have a nice airport that has been recently rennovated with a lot of nice shops and restaurants added. Too bad you can't stay longer. :)

Flown SWA to/through BNA many times.

Super-easy connections plus, Southwest is the largest airline, there...

Here's a good map, for your convenience.

As airports go, it's one of the best -- they even have some unique food options for those who have a little time on the ground, there...

Dont forget to factor in the time difference. We also have flown from Cleveland to Orlando via Nashville, and their time is one hour behind us.

Ok I did NOT know that!? Bah I am glad you told me, SWA accounted for the time difference (which I guess they should but no one told me). They have me leaving CMH @0650 and arriving at BNA @0710 and I know I was thinking that it was crazy that it was only 20 min although I had never flown into BNA before. When I searched for just the first leg of my flight it said the same departure and arrival time but travel time was listed at 1 hr 20 min. That makes way more sense. So I am arriving at 0710 Nashville time, but my layover time will be the same (35 min). Then on the 2nd leg of the flight they adjust for the time zone switchover to MCO, while the flight is only 1hr 50min it takes us "2hr 50min" to get to MCO. Wow I made that way confusing, just had to make sure not to miss my connecting flight. Thanks for the heads up ls1222 :)

all departing flights are based on local time of the airport, so yea, their 710 is our 810 :)
