We'll be in the parks (US) at our 24 hour mark for our return trip. I've gotten advice to have someone else back home check me in. Has anyone else done this? How exactly does it work, and how will I get my boarding passes?

I'm doing the same thing for my return flight - a co-worker is checking me in and I'll either have the boarding passes printed at the hotel when I get back there in the PM or I'll print them at the kiosk at the airport. At the kiosk you have the option to "check-in" or print boarding passes.

You can also check on on a web enable cell phone. That's how I do it every year! :thumbsup2

You can have someone check in from home, all they need is your confirmation number. Then you just re-print your boarding pass at the airport when you check your luggage.

You can also check in via web enabled cellphone or do it at guest services do it for you.

I have done it at AKL, BWI and guest services at Epcot as well as the self service kiosk at the Dolphin resort.

what do you do with your luggage then?

You just go and check it at the airport like you normally would (assuming that you're checking luggage). If not checking, then you can head straight through security with your boarding pass.
