SWA changing planes in Nashville Q

Ok, we usually just do nonstops. But there are no midday nonstops, so if we stick to the midday time, we have a stop in Nashville & change planes. The thing that worries me is it says there is only 30 minutes between landing and takeoff of the other plane. This is a January flight where there is a risk of delays due to weather. I have been royally messed up before on flights with Northwest due to delayed weather and then missed connections, and luggage not making it, etc... Does anyone actually book these 30 minute change plane flights? Could it even remotely come off without a hitch...including luggage making it to the new plane? I like this flight's times and all, but I'm just not sure I can take the risk.

I think you'll be fine with a 30 minute layover in Nashville. SW gates are very close together so getting to your departing gate won't take long at all. As far as weather, Nashville doesn't often have any winter weather issues. Of course, you never know when traveling that time of year.

I can't speak to the luggage issue -- I think that's a risk when flying, period. LOL .. but 30 minutes is plenty of time to change planes at BNA. The Southwest gates are all together and there's not many of them.

I (used to) fly in and out of Nashville a lot. It is a relatively compact airport and a 30 min change is not a problem there.
