SWA-changing dates-how do I and costs

I booked on line and now I am thinking of adding on a day or two. Are there penalties and fees? The basic per day cost is the same on each flight. I'm assuming I can and probably have to change it on line. How will I be sure to not lose what I had in case there is a glitch and the new changes do not go thru. Anything else I need to know? TIA!

There are no penalties to change. You click on travel section at the top of the page, go into change reservation and it will give you the option of changing either leg of your trip, you can make your changes, then it will go to a confirmation page which you can check and then click okay. I've changed quite a few trips and never had a problem.

We just changed our return flight a few days ago online- no problem!

This is why I love SW so much no penalties and fees like every other airline...
