Hi only 2 days to go and can't wait. Iam justtorying to sort out a few last details. One is my SWA tickets and boarding passes.

I have 4 tickets on the same Resrvation number. We are flying out of ALB to BWI to MCO.

Will I be able to get my boarding passes online for both my initial flight and my connecting flight?

Can I get my borading passes online with the way my reservations ore set up now or do I have to call and separate them?

Thanks for the help

David

Even if you get the reservation numbers separated, you will only be able to get boarding passes for your initial flight (whether you do it online or at your originating airport). You still have to get the boarding passes for your connecting flight and your connection airport.

No, they can get them for both legs online. They cannot do it at the first airport, however.

I called Southwest as I am in the same situation. It never occured to me to get seperate reservations. for my sons and I. But I have decided to do this.

1) copy my itenerary multiple times . So in the case I lose one I will have duplicates.
2) because we are leaving during a busy season I plan to get to the airport extremely early.
3) I am going to check into my flight at the sky captains desk. Prior to going into the airport.
4)make sure I am one of the first ones to check in at the gate to get a low boarding number.

this is my plan.

kimberlyfamilyfv...you do not check in at the gate anymore with SW...they issue you a boarding pass with an A,B or C, and then board the A group first, then B, etc. If you print out your boarding passes on line at home then you don't have to sit around the airport forever... just take your boarding pass straight to the gate and wait to board.

Do you need to print it out, or can they do it for you at the counter? I will be bringing my laptop to WDW but no printer and need to check my bags anyway. Can I reserve my boarding pass & then have them print it?

Thanks-
Donna

Thanks for the update Gail! I didn't realize that.

You are most welcome. What I did fail to mention is for the second leg (or third) you will need to enter the departing flight number. So, it will mean 2 trips to the checkin online feature for each reservaiton.

No, they will not print them out at the counter. They don't have the abiility to do that. You can print them out at a place like Kinkos.
