SWA Ad & Friends received a POST CARD

Hello I heard an ad for Southwest airlines from Chicago to Orlando I think had to travel sometime in May for $59 one way. And our friends received a post card and had no idea what it was for, so I clued her in. Today she tells me she called her travel agent who called disney and was on the phone for an hour, but the outcome. They got Port Orleans for $59 a night with the post card. They have family traveling with them so they got 3 rooms at that price! She so so so thanked me. Said in all they saved $1500.00 for the rooms. Guess they'll have money to eat.

$59 is a great price for POR. Do you know the dates it was good for.

That is a fantastic rate. I wish I would get a coupon, I travel to WDW at least twice a year and would love to get the rates that others get. I have to rely on those AP rates which were not very good this year. Oh well, glad to see some get good luck. Peggie

Sounds like great airfare, i just got mine on Song for $49 but as far as the postcard I got one as well that had $59 on it but that was for the Value Resorts and POFQ was $79 I would have your friend call and just make sure they charged her the right rates if what she got as a postcard says $59. I would hate for her to be mischarged!

She told me her post card had different rates for different times? If she went that particular week it was $59 (last week of June I believe) other times it was $79. I told her wow I never heard of Port Orleans for $59, she got a great deal. Believe me, they have 3 boys, they were happy. I think she said it expired July 4.

I'm suspecting she is either going to POP for the $59 (or even $49), or POR for $79. Although with 3 kids, (I assume 5 people?) her only choice would be POR. If so, she has gotten the best rate I have ever heard of for a Mod, except the year CBR opened with a $59 special. Good for her!

when are you travelling? the cheapest I saw Song for was $64 from JFK. for august. I did notice that the taxes/fees have increased. Our RT trip at $67 each way was only $135 now a $64 each way RT is $145. I guess that's gas prices right there.
