SWA 4 Tickets, who gets the refend/credit?

If we have a reservation for four people (DH, DW, DS, DD) with southwest and we have to cancel; we should get a credit.

How is that credit tagged to us? Will I have four seperate credits under each person's name? or one credit for the entire amount that anyone can use?

Can I let a friend use my credits?

The credit will be held under the original confirmation number. Generally, it can be applied by either the person who's name was on the credit card or any individual who was listed in the reservation. If you give your friend the necessary information, they can use the credit.

SWA credits are easily transferrable. When you (or whomever) goes through the process of booking a flight, there is a button to click to apply Travel Funds (credits). All they ask for is the original confirmation number and the name of the person on the credit card (from the original, cancelled confirmation). They will apply the credit funds and show you any balance still due. Easy peasy.

Interestingly enough, the last tickets I booked for DD and BIL, it wasn't the credit card name (mine) which allowed me to access the information, it was either of their names. So, if one doesn't work, try the other.
