SW "web special" prices?

I was showing DH how high SW prices are for the summer last night. He said, "That's because they don't have the web specials column up yet." Basicall, he said there is usually a fourth column of pricing with the cheap fares. Anyone know if this is true and when they might release these rates?

That changed when SWA introduced their new pricing. Sometimes you can see small blue print in the "Wanna Get Away" column that says Web only. And I imagine you know about signing up for Ding! The new prices posted are probably among the lowest you'll see except for a Ding! fare. Book your flights one-way to make it easier to take advantage of any lower prices.

I have always checked SW against Jet Blue out of Buffalo and this time I must say that I have already booked with Jet Blue @ 64.00 per person each way.... and I got to pick my seats already.... I really do like SW but for 64.00 each way in June can't go wrong... and they are direct flights leave at 7am and return leave MOC at 4:30ish.....

As long as they dont change that direct (is it direct or non stop? If it's direct you will stop at an airport, but wont change planes, if it's non stop, then well, you dont stop anywhere except where you want to go ) flight to a layover somewhere you will be great. I dont know how often JB changes their schedule.

I think we'll hold off a little longer before we buy our tix. I'm hoping SW will come down a bit. I don't think we'll fly Jet Blue out of Philly if they have a stop. I can't justify a 4+ hour flight for a flight that should be 2.5hr.

We just booked with the "Wanna Get Away" special price on the web. It was $74 each way. Total for 4 roundtrip= $670.......yippie!!!! I thought that was an awesome deal. I'm not sure how I feel about not having seat arrangements ahead of time though. I refuse to pay the $10 fee per person. At least my kids are old enough to be by themselves if we do get split up. It is only 2.5 hours!

from here (arizona) to orange county was like $74 or $79 or something like that

I have found that the wanna get away prices will dissapear about 3 weeks before the flight date. Also I called today about the childrens fare verses the WGA price and the WGA was 115 and childrens was 192. The SW agent told me that the WGA fare is always cheaper than any other fare.
