SW vs Cont. I stress myself out every time!

SW opened today with $177 One Way - - (9/22 CLE TO MCO)

Continental dropped to $158 Round Trip ($79 each way to compare!)

Sounds like a no - brainer. but there is only one flight at $158 that day (the rest are $208 still not too bad). But - the one for $158 r/t arrives at 8:13 pm. With meeting my inlaws who are driving in...and birthday celebration planned for 1st night (of free dining), I would hate to arrive that late.

Man - I hate this....I think I'll just keep an eye on them.

This Southwest thing is new for us Clevelanders as far as direct flights to Orlando! They just started them in March, so I think I'll hang in there for Southwest. Although, there are only two SW direct/day, 1 @ 1:30pm and 1 @ 9:10 pm - Ugh! Stressin' myself out again! Whatcha think?

I would not be purchasing a ticket now for a September trip, unless I found an incredible deal. That said, if you insist on doing it now, I'd go with the Continental flight.

I booked my trip today on Expedia - before Continental dropped their rates back down. I still saved $20 over what I would have paid booking through Continental direct. I wasn't happy with the only direct flight times on SW for the days we are traveling and being able to have an assigned seat and to check my luggage for our return flight at the hotel before we leave helped make my decision. I've been watching prices at Continental for the past 1 1/2 months and they haven't been much lower than where they are now.

I have piece of mind knowing I'm booked on the flights that work for our family and trip itineray. Have a magical trip!
