If you are going to WDW over spring break on Southwest, check your fares every day.

We are traveling 3/22 - 3/31. Initially, we were coming home on a flight with a stop on 3/30. Yesterday, fares went down and I was able to change it to a nonstop. I wanted to come home on 3/31 but prices were almost double. Today, I wake up and fares on 3/31 dropped! So, I was able to add a day to our trip for no extra charge! Woo Hoo!!

I already booked our airfare going home but have been waiting and waiting to book it for our departure date of 3/31 as fares have been way too high!!
Think I might book soon!!
We fly out of midway too!!

I have been (not so) patiently :rotfl2: waiting to book our flights for May for our WDW-DCL-WDW trip, flying out of Indy using our rapid rewards points. The prices/points had been high (in my opinion) since they released their May travel dates. I have checked at least twice a day hoping for a decrease. Finally, on Friday evening the prices had dropped to my comfort zone and I was able to book 4 round trip flights for only $30 out of pocket, using 47,520 rapid rewards points (LOVE  their 50,000 rapid rewards points bonus for opening a SWA VISA  ). Whew, now I'm done until my November 2012 trip with friends and a possible short trip to Orlando in March to help my snowbird parents get home :).

After reading your post I checked our early March flights. Just saved $103! Will be able to apply credit to our next trip! YEAAAAAAA!

Been tracking Pittsburgh to MCO for a couple months and fares have been stuck at $139 each way no matter when I looked. Suddenly they now are $95 each way for most time periods, many of the flights. Wonder what's driving this?

Booking for October so flight schedule not yet released for that time period - I hope those lower fares hang around for a while!

Well, the fares were low on 12/23 but I was sick and couldn't make a decision about them so of course they skyrocketed the next day. I'm looking for mid March. I'm hoping after New Years they'll go down again. Is 2 1/2 mos. too close to get a good fare?

I didn't get my 3/31 airfare yet!!

I am tempted to buy the least expensive even though I will end up switching times...

I've been wondering the same thing. I haven't booked yet for early March. The prices have been a lot more than I usually pay, but I don't usually travel in March. I actually started to consider driving. I'd like to see them come down at least a little bit. I've been watching almost every day. There are some flights that have come down a little bit, but I'm getting worried. I know I have to book soon. There are a couple flights that I have seen sell out in the last few days.
