The conciege desk at all Disney resorts will do your check-in for you, as well as guest services at each of the parks.
I have a web-enable cell phone and do my checkin myself that way. Before I had this phone, I depended on a friend to check in for me.

All of the resorts now have a concierge desk, it bascially is what use to be guest services. They will get your park tickets, make dining reservations and print your boarding pass for you

I would be careful with the use of these services. SW has had success in shutting them down.

All of the resorts have a concierge desk. You only need to do the actual check in as the boarding passes can be reprinted at the airport. Hence why I am able to do it by cell phone.

I have had them printed at Contemporary and MK and AKL and POR myself, without a hitch!

On our last trip a few weeks ago we checked in at Guest Relations at Epcot and they printed our boarding passes for us too. :thumbsup2

Did you have to go there at the 24 hour mark? Or can someone just check in with Guest Relations (or a concierge desk) ahead of time and have them check you in?

Thanks.

I would guess that if you wanted to try to get a's you'd have to camp the desk and have them do it as close to 24 hrs as possible

If your doing it at guest relations at the park or resort you have to actually be there at the 24 hour mark. If I can I usuallly have someone reliable do it from home for me:)

FWIW I have done it at BWI, AKL and Epcot, it was easy and quick.

SWA has been successful in shutting some of these companies down so I wouldn't be recommending it.

There is a post here from someone who was enjoying vacation at the 24 hour mark while the "boarding first type" company was supposed to be checking them in. SWA shut them down and the poster ended up with a C boarding pass at the airport.

Southwest went after BoardFirst.com. This was a website that charged $5 a checkin, only if you got an A of course, and was in violation of Southwests terms relative as to who and how one was checked in. Checkinsooner.com, iBoardA.com, and others use a different method, and they do not charge a fee. It remains to be seen if Southwest goes after these other services or not, but so far I have been quite happy with them. YMMV.

SW sent me an email a while back about how to check in online there and that I could print off my boarding passes at the airport. This is what I plan to do.

You can check in for a Southwest flight with a web-enabled cellphone. The website is mobile.southwest.com

Set your cellphone to buzz you at the 24 hour mark and you'll never miss a checkin.

You do NOT have to print the boarding passes at the time you check in. If you don't want to worry about carrying them with you, reprint them at the check in desk when you check your luggage, or at the automated check-in kiosks in the airport. Choose "reprint boarding pass" when their menu gives you the selections.

Yes you have to go to them at the 24 hour mark. I would be nervous of letting someone else do it for me! Plus they had so many other people in there for so many other different things I would feel bad dumping that responsibility on them. Our 24 hour mark was at 8:15 pm. so around 8 we stopped what we were doing, walked to guest services, they checked us in (took all of 5 minutes including waiting in line) and then we went off to find a good spot to watch Illuminations.
