SW Rapid Rewards

I just signed up for Southwest Rapid Rewards so that I could buy discounted Sea World tickets. Online I saw that you can purchase tix at 5% off, which is basically the same rate you can buy them directly from Sea Worl donline anyway, but I saw people on here who purchased tickets 20% off at the gate. Does it say that on the SW website somewhere? I couldn't find it anywhere. I don't want to wait to buy tickets at the gate and then end up not getting a better deal than I could have gotten online.

The only promo I could currently find were on the seaworld website - adult at kids prices or pay for a day get 2009 free.

Since we were going for 2 days only this year, I went with the 20% rapid rewards discount.

Rapid Rewards discount is only available at the gate as far as I know. The line wasn't too bad when I went (Feb10,9am).

So it's 20% off both adult and kids tickets?

So $75 adult ticket would become $60
and $65 kids ticket would become $52?

Mousesavers.com web site says that the 20% discount is no longer promoted on the Southwest Web Site, but that Seaworld has still been honoring the discount. Since you can go only obtain the discount at the gate, there will be some risk that Seaworld will discontinue the discount and you could have to pay full price or some other lesser discount at the gate like AAA

Wow, I will have to ck swa website as I printed off the deal 3/10/09 and have it on paper!

Ok, just ckd SWA website & the promo is gone! It used to be under Rapid Rewards promotions. I have it printed off and its just not there anymore. Back to the drawing board on Seaworld Discounts!

Has anyone recently tried using their Southwest Rapid Rewards card to get 20% Sea World tickets? I understand SW took the link off their website recently. I am curious if I should buy tickets before our trip in May or buy them at the gate with our SW RR card.

I just called their information line (800-327-2424) and they said yes they still offer 20% off a 1-day admission with SWRR membership card and photo ID for the member and 3 guests. And it's 20% off both adult and child tickets.

i just used the wendys code and got our tix for $69.99 two days ago we're going the end of august but they just have to be used by 12/31/11 and bought by 8/31/11
