I just moved from Ottawa to Sacramento so I don't know alot about Southwest. For our upcoming Disney trip in September we are pricing tickets and Southwest and Continental have comparable priced tickets.

My question is what is the likelyhood my fiance and I would be able to sit together if we book Southwest (we are planning on paying for Early Bird Check-In). The flight is a longish one and we plan to share books, electronics, snacks etc that we have packed (TSA approved snacks of course). So sitting together is preferable.

So what are the chances. Im sure this has been asked before, so I apologize!

Welcome to Sacto! I live in Chicago now but I grew up in Sac. Anyway you should have no problem sitting together. We fly Southwest a lot and all 5 in my group end up together so two will be easy.

I agree...you should have no problem sitting together, especially with opting for the early check in. An added bonus...you don't have to pay to check your luggage!

You won't have any trouble sitting together. We have flown SW numerous times and have never been seated apart. Also SW is running a great special right now - so you might try and book by this evening - the birthday special ends tonight. Some places had amazing deals especially for Sept and Oct.

Thank you all very much! I checked the anniversary sale but unfortunatley my date post a bunc of $219.00 departure flights ick!
