We leave for the World on Friday and I know that you can print off a boarding pass 24 hours in advance from Southwest. Of course, I'll be in a meeting on Thursday so I will be unable to print it off until the afternoon around 12. Do you think I will still be able to get "A" or will I end up with a "B"? (Hopefully, it won't be a "C"!)

Thanks! :cool1:

Totally depends upon the flight time and how many flight fly out of your airport on a day....

Can someone else print it out for you (you give them your confirmation numbers and names on tickets)? You can also check in on your cell phone if it's web enabled. It tells you how to do it on southwest.com . You check in there and it shows you the letter of your boarding pass and then you print it out at the kiosk at the airport. Hope this helps! :goodvibes

Do you have any kids under 5?

I am hoping that you can still board early with kids under five.

Little ones+ automatic A group!

BTW, My Dh flys all the time and has gotten B four hours before the flight. If you get B be sure to get in line early at the beginning of the B's has a better chance of seat choices of course.

Last year, we flew from TX to CA w/ SWA. I was able to check in early at home. However, for the flight back to TX, I had to check in at the airport. I go an A. I didn't think they had any other letters.

Our flight is at 8:45 am and there are no young kids. I might try to have someone else print them for me. Thanks for your replies!

Remember, you don't have to have somebody actually print the boarding pass for you. Anyone can check you in and reserve your "place in line" while you just reprint your boarding pass at the airport.

If this were a year ago, or even 6 months, I might say don't worry about it. You'll get your B pass and maybe even an A. But with more and more people understanding how to maximize Southwest's system, I wouldn't take the chance.

Yep - What Salmoneous said... Have someone else check you in online - they only need your name and confirmation number - so they can even be on the otherside of the country. This will hold your spot. Then after your meeting you can go back to the Southwest site and go to the checkin page again and it will bring up your boarding ticket (with whatever letter the person who checked you in got) and you can reprint it - or you can reprint it at the airport.

When I asked this question once before, I was told I could go to guest services at my Disney resort and they would be able to print this out 24 hours prior for me.
