I know I saw this here before but I can't find it.

If I have already booked a flight with SW and the price goes down can I get the lower price? If so do I have to call or can I do it online?

TIA

You can call them or do it online. It's easy to do it yourself online. Just go to Travel Tools and select Change Air Reservation. Enter your confirmation number and then you select the same flight that you are already on at the lower price. You won't get a refund (unless you originally purchased the expensive refundable ticket) but the funds will be available for you to use on future flights. They expire one year from the date of the original booking date. If the new lower rate is a DING fare you have to do it differently. For a DING you must cancel the original reservation and then rebook using the DING fare. You can apply the ticketless travel funds from you cancelled reservation to pay for the DING. Any remaining funds (your savings from booking the cheaper flight) will continue to be available just as I described above. Hope that helps.
