Do they do refunds on the "Wanna Get Away" fares....what is reuseable funds?

When the flight has a stop with a plane change, how is boarding priority handled? Does you boarding priority from the previous flight take effect?? Or, do I have the check into the two flights seperatly at the 24hr mark??

How do you know if the flight you are changing on to will have passengers on it already? I don't want to be seperated from my children??

I can answer a few of your questions. First you will receive Ticketless Travel Funds which can be applied to future travel but must be used one year from the original purchase date. You can transfer these credits to anyone.
When you check in at 24 hours before your first flight you will get boarding passes for both flights. I think you will end up with an A boarding pass.
I have only flownn a connecting flight once and it did not seem to be a problem to find seats together.

I have a question regarding TTF:

If your expiration date is May 1, 2010, do you have to start your trip before this date -- or do you have to finish your trip by this date? Or just book separate reservations (each way)?

You have to complete the travel for which the TTF is applied. If your return flight will be after the expiration date then book your departure and return flights separately and apply the TTF to the departure flights.

Mind if I jump in and ask a question...

We are flying with a lap baby, can we get a Boarding Verification Document for her at the skycap or only from the ticket counter?

The last time we flew, we were able to get the boarding verification document from the sky cap. Make sure you bring the birth certificate. We forgot last time and had to jump thru hoops. Luckily, they still let us fly.

Thanks, this was helpful. So one ways for me.

Another new glitch that is occurring now with the new site is that they only allow you to use three ticketless travel funds per reservation. We had 9 separate funds left from our august trip due to a price drop and we wanted to buy just two tickets for March. We ended up booking one ways and individual tickets inorder to use all the funds before they expired in April. Each person is listed as a separate credit even if they are on the same confirmation number. You could use four but then you could not pay the remainder with a credit card. It will only accept four methods of payment. It was very confusing to do.

Question on boarding policy... If I fail to get an A boarding pass for our return trip. (because I'm busy in the parks), will I qualify to board between the A's and B's?? We will have a ticket for our 7 & 5 year old, but not our infant. I know that SW states 4 and under to board in this group, but will we qualify with our infant even though we don't have a ticket?

I'm worried about this myself. I don't understand how that works since they're all under the same confirmation number. In the past when I've used TTF I've entered the confirmation number and name of the primary traveller on the original reservation. How do the funds get entered now if they get separated like this? If they're separated, that means I have a total of 12 separate funds right now (3 price drops for 4 people) even though they're all under a single confirmation number.

When you enter the confirmation number and the first passengers name a new box will appear with the breakdown of all the funds under that confirmation number. We had two groups of four and an individual ticket to make up our traveling group. It will let you use four but if the total is less than the ticket price and you try to pay the rest with a credit card it will give you a message to only use four methods of payment. The credit card is one and then you can only use 3 out of the four. You will then have to drop the last name in the list and you can then use the credit card. When we did the next reservation we put the same confirmation number in and it only listed the remaining person on the ticket. I hope I was clear in explaining this. So that is why we had to only do one way tickets and separate tickets for myself and my husband. We will now have two confirmation numbers for our flight checking in and the same for the return trip. I was determined to use every penny of the travel funds.

So you had 9 people and therefore 9 individual credits under the 3 confirmation numbers? How many price changes had you made? I'm wondering if they'll group each of my 3 price drops per person on my confirmation together giving me a total of 4 separate funds or if they'll split them all up into 12. I do have a trip in the works for before our funds expire, but I'll have to separate my reservations into 4 different purchases in order to use all the funds. That's just a pain (doable, but a pain).

I only had one price change for each confirmation number. It is doable but takes forever to complete the task. I have heard that if you call SW and make your reservation over the phone, they help you combine some of them.
Hope you end up using all the funds.

I figure that even if I can't combine the funds, I've got a trip for 4 of us to book in April so if I do 2 orders of 2 seats each way then I'll be able to use all 12 (3 on each order plus the credit card). It just really is a pain. This of course assumes that I don't see any further reductions in price which I'm doubting I will though I'll still keep checking obsessively. Hey, I only have 4 more months to obsess. LOL

Thanks for explaining this. At least now I've thought this through and feel confident that I can make it work.
