SW points that count for companion pass

We are getting really close to qualifying for the companion pass. Recently there was a 5000 point bonus for upgrading one of our cards to Premiere. Also, I will be getting 6000 anniversary points in November. If both of these items count, we will definitely make the 110,000 points. I looked through my points history trying to see when my anniversary points were posted last year, but I didn't see them. So I wonder if they will count towards the companion pass or not? I looked at the companion pass FAQ but couldn't tell.

My husband's anniversary date was 10/4. The points posted on 10/6. Those points counted toward Companion Pass status.
