SW just changed our flights fro $79 to $49 (same flight). That's a $220 credit for our family . They would not re-credit our card .

Now I can use them on our April flights

Just got flights in Aug to Tampa and Oct to Orlando, $49 is outstanding.

Funny thing is...a Ding came out today for $96 each way...YUK!

So gald I double checked the rates.

I haven't booked my flight for our Sept trip yet. We saw the same offer for SW $49 each way, but Air Tran has one better time for us also at $49 each way. I was trying to figure out whether its better to deal with SW or Air tran? Just in case we need to either cancel our flight or just change it once its booked, Air tran states that they charge $60.00 each ticket that needs to get changed. Also has anyone had a good or bad experiences with Air tran or Southwest? Thanks alot.

Southwest doesn't charge a change/cancellation fee ever. Also once they create a schedule, it rarely changes except for weather-related issues. I've never flown Air Tran but other posters have complained lately that what they booked as a non-stop flight, later had a connection added and they were pretty angry.
If you find your flight cheaper, you can rebook online and keep the credit. You have a yr from original purchase date to use it.
