Just got my weekly email for this week and the title was "Final Days to Save Systemwide". Usually an indication they are getting ready to open up the schedule...

Here's to keeping our fingers crossed!! :worship:

I'm REALLY tired of waiting... we need March 11th & I'm just fed up with SW!

You guys wouldn't happen to have an idea about when swa will start booking for May do you?

:surfweb: :headache: My life was so much less stressfull and simpler before buying into DVC - now all I do is wait for flights to be released and DING's to come out

I've booked my Spring Break flight to MCO, but am waiting on the return in mid-March. My guess is that they'll release them mid-morning this Thursday. And guess where I'll be? On a plane to DL! Our flight leaves after 10:00 a.m. CST, so I doubt they'll be released before my flight, but I'll check at the airport. I'll be calling Southwest when our SW flight stops in Phoenix to pick up other passengers! :rotfl2:

I just need to redeem free award tickets for our return flight because I expect that it will be quite expensive, so I'm hopeful that I'll get the flight I want.

I have also been waiting for SW to open up schedule for April. This is all new to me, so not sure what to do when they do open up times. I typed in I was traveling from Manchester, NH to Orlando end of Feb. to say March 7th, and looks like all flights are booked? Is that what unavailable means? So, I'm thinking as soon as April opens up I should jump on it and book my flight? I'm so afraid they will get booked up quickly and I won't get a flight. I more concerned about that, and then if I wait too long for a ding or rates to go down it might get booked? Any advice? :confused3

Book your flights as one way's when they come out.... (it's easier to book Ding's should that happen), that way you have your flights & Southwest will let you use the credit from a cheaper fare or Ding fare for another flight within one year.... that's what we're doing anyways....

Ok, I'm all confused . . . not that it takes much! So if I book a flight now (or whenever SW releases my April dates) I can still book a ding later for a cheaper price and be credited the difference between the two? Is that how it works? Thanks!

I have already booked our Spring Break return flight on NWA (they had a late night non-stop flight, gotta get as much WDW in as possible :thumbsup2 ), but need to book our SWA flight down. I also need to book my mom and dad's "snow birds return home" flight for the end of March. I know that I booked our 2006 Spring Break SWA flights ~10/22 last year, so it seems like SWA is "late" on releasing their late March flight schedules. I really hope they release the dates tomorrow. I swear I check their website 10 times a day, hoping that "today's the day" (to quote the great Indiana native treasure hunter Mel Fisher of the Atocha fame). Good luck to all the anxious folks waiting along with me :hourglass .

Sorry not to get back to you sooner MinnieMom3, when you book your one way flights, you can log back into the Southwest travel center and either cancel what you booked & get a credit right back in your account to use for your Ding fare, or, if it's just a regular lowered fare, you can log back in to the travel center & just modify your reservation to take advantage of the new fare.... Booking one way's is pretty important to take advantage of the Ding fare's though...
