BDL is so expensive to fly out of.

Thanks for the info. Usually I don't find BDL expensive (except the expected peak times). what's getting to me this fall is that you can fly BDL-TPA for $59 (there was also MCO - ALB for $59), but they don't seem to discount the BDL-MCO until much closer to the flight date. On 9/27, the finally came out with $59 fares for Oct - which is fine if you're flying the end of the month, but stressful when you're flying the beginning of the month. I broke down last weekend and actually reserved TPA-BDL on Tues 11/14 for $39, but I hate to have DD miss another day of school so still hoping for MCO-BDL for $59 or less. And then last weekend, there was a DING, but the DING fares were $94 and $99 - Better, but not great. DD and BIL outbound is still showing complete availability for 4 possible non stop flights over a 2 day period, so I'm still goint to wait awhile and hope for the best

I'm too spoiled I guess.

You open two windows in your web browser. I use Internet Explorer. From the File menu, select New then Window. Don't know what to tell you if you're using AOL or something else.

Just thought I would give an update that might save some $$$. I just re-booked my friends flight for Nov 12th- Nov 17th Non-stop BDL to MCO and saved her $304. Check out the deal rates NOW. I was too nervous to use the two window method with my friends flights so, I got her the credit and like I said before the agent said we can call after the flight and they may refund the $$$.

If anyone does the two window method, let me know.

Can I assume that you were able to change whatever they had to the $109 fares? And that resulted in the savings? I didn't miss lower fares than that, right? As I've said, I'm just too spoiled! Still waiting for $59 or less (although I'd probably book $79 and hope for a Ding)

Yes, that was the price...She had originally paid the $145 price so she is very happy. I am still waiting for any cheaper prices too.

No rebooking for me. I am just glad I got the flights I wanted for Christmas week. There are almost no seats left at any price.

Just wanted to urge folks to keep checking if the sale rate is not available for your flight!

I just needed the return MCO to STL for 11/5. My rate was 159 per person + taxes. When this sale came out, my flight at 4pm was not available. Only available flights were noon and 8am and just didn't want to loose 1/2 day of vacation.

But I kept checking and first thing when I got to work, there it is! My flight is available at 109!

So have $100 credit there and $120 credit when I changed the flight down from 109 to a $49 ding. So there's 1/2 or close to 1/2 of our fare for Spring Break to Ft. Lauderdale when SWA finally opens. WOO HOO!

We booked our May flight after returning from our Nov trip. We had missed the internet specials out of BDL, but booked $59 flights out of PVD. It is a drive for us...but DH wanted to try it for the price.
Will wait for the DING out of BDL..
