SW flight and private transport? Suggestions?

we are flying SW in a few weeks and are planning to do private car transport this time as we always had used ME so this is a completely new experience.

Had planned to use a private company VIP luxury transportation that some friends had used but they are booked for our return so considering a different company to get a discount round trip. FL Tours? Happy Limos? any suggestions?

Also, can private transport pick up at the SW side? or do we have to take our luggage to the other side to meet our driver/car?

They can pickup on either side. I’ve taken a private car after a SW flight, they meet you on level 1, side A. One floor down from SW baggage claim.

Our private car company picks us up right oustside the southwest baggage claim. He always tells us to let him know which number we are on and he pulls up and gets us minutes after we go directly outside the closest door. It is great! Much much better than schlepping luggage to the other side of the airport and all the way to the mears area.

The major car service providers (Mears, etc.) will meet you at the bottom of the baggage claim escalator on either side and help with luggage.
