I was tinkering on the Southwest web site today, thinking about how/when I want to book my flights for November once the schedule is extended on 5/19. What I couldn't find was if there is a way to book EBCI for only ONE flight on a roundtrip booking for both passengers?

Both of our flights will be nonstop and I would prefer to only purchase EBCI for the flight home for both of us. On the screen where you enter your info, it appears you only have the option to check the box to add EBCI - does the next screen allow you to specify? I know you can add EBCI later on, but I'd rather do it at the same time I book if it's possible.

Thanks!

Yes, you can pick EBCI for one leg of your trip. You'll get checkboxes for each flight / person when you select that option and then you can pick and choose what you want.

Perfect. Thanks for the response!:thumbsup2

I wasn't able to book EBCI for only 1 leg, I had to book for flight down and flight back. I didn't book on line but called SW and was able to add it to my return flight only. I was told by SW that is the only way to do it if you only want it one way

When I booked our R/T flight last week I couldn't find a way to add EBCI to just one leg during the initial booking process. So I booked without it then clicked through the EBCI "ad" in my confirmation email and there it let me uncheck the outbound flight and just add it to my return.:goodvibes

This is exactly what I did. Don't mind sitting at the computer at exactly 24 hours before our outbound flight and hoping for the best--never had any trouble. But don't want to be tied to a time while I'm down in the parks. I just booked the round trip tickets alone. Then went back in and added EBCI on the return flight only. Worked great.
