For all those who want to stay overnight for the DIS Meet on May 21st, here is some information:
http://www.tetburyonline.co.uk/Accom.htm gives quite a few varied places to stay.
The Priory Hotel is probably going to be the location for the daytime section of the meet. We popped in there yesterday and were quoted room prices of £85 per night for a double room and £119 for a family room. Both include breakfast. There is only 1 family room, so I would get in quick if you fancy staying there.
It has been renovated recently and turned into a 'gastro-pub'. The food is very good and it should be fine for our varied DIS Meet needs.
Another reasonable place is the Royal Oak (in the Inns section), which should be slightly cheaper.
The Ormonds Head is also not too bad.
If you are feeling flush, the 2 most expensive hotels in town are The Snooty Fox and The Close Hotel. Very nice, but with a price tag to match.
I will need to firm up the numbers closer to the time and see who is staying for the whole day and who is coming just for the afternoon.
If anybody needs any more advice of information on where to stay, either ask on here or e-mail me.
Cheers
