SW DIS Meet 2004 Second Edition

After the previous false start I think we have finalised the details at last.

Date: Saturday 24th April. Kick off at 12 o'clock.

Place: The Snooty Fox

This is a very nice hotel and the meals are not too expensive at lunch time. They also do baguettes etc.
There is a lounge area where we should be able to sit and have the quiz (I'm looking your way Hilary....) and whatever other fun and games we decide on.
Children are welcome in the hotel, but there is no garden. We can organise some activities to keep the little monsters.... er, angels... happy.

If anyone wants to stay for the night there are a number of hotels B&B's etc.

If people are staying then we will try and think of something for the Saturday night.

I'm coming , and will post again after domestic consultations to let you know how many of me there'll be (?) and whether I'll be staying over.

Kev (looking your way), I will be glad to bring along some prizes for the Quiz as I'll only just have returned from Florida a few days before the meet, so should be able to find something in the suitcase. Of course, unfortunately, this means that I won't have time to prepare a quiz for the meet, but will have lots of time to mug up on Disney details and keep them fresh in the old memory. Who knows, I might even stand a chance of winning back one of the prizes I'll be able to bring .

We will be staying, problay have to make a real weekend of it, and drive down the friday night, and stay then, otherwise we'd have to be up around 3.00 to make it for 12.00!!!

So count us in for the friday and saturday night!!!, now off to check out B&B's!!!.

Anybody else up for a friday night drink LOL!.

We will be coming and we'll probably stay over. As Hilary is otherwise engaged in the run-up, I would be honoured to devise the quiz. I've got half a dozen or so prizes to donate.

Count me in - and probably with my two ankle biters!! Almost certainly Bryn as Josh will be there!

I've got some prizes here and I also think I've got a quiz lurking here that I devised but was never used from ages back.

Will definitely be there for the day, don't know yet about staying over etc but will let you know for sure nearer the time.

DH friend is getting married - but neglected to tell me the date - I have been asking for a while ( But girls - you know what men are like )

Anyway he has just told me it is the 24th So we can't come. If you planning anything for the Sunday please let me know and we can try and make that.......

I know Sam I have just found out we are invited to the church and then the evening reception????? So during the afternoon we are to find something to do with all of the other people who aren't invited to the afternoon reception?? Very Strange!!!

Nice to have you on board.

You don't have to bring anything, but I am open to bribes when it comes to the quizes.

Although Deb is setting the main quiz (love her heart), I'm reckoning on a little espionage to steal the questions so that I look informed and intelligent.
My plan is to shout 'Hey Deb! Look over there! A flying Mickey Mouse!' and then swipe the documents while she is distracted.
Fool proof.
